The National Development and Reform Commission said that it will further improve and strengthen the energy consumption “dual control” system, formulate a three-year work plan to guide localities to do their work in a solid, forceful and orderly manner, and resolutely curb the “two highs” project Blindly develop and accelerate the overall green transformation of economic and social development.

On September 16, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the “Plan for Improving the Dual Control System for Energy Consumption Intensity and Total Volume” to increase the flexibility and rationality of the dual control system for energy consumption from multiple perspectives.

Facing the current severe domestic energy dual control situation, all provinces named by the National Development and Reform Commission, such as Jiangsu, Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places, have introduced power curtailment measures to strictly control the power consumption of high-energy-consuming enterprises, in order to ensure the dual control of energy consumption can be completed in time.
